Mobility of Today and Tomorrow

The return to the green – after a two-year stopover in Düsseldorf – couldn't be more atmospheric or fitting. At the over 775-year-old Rittergut Birkhof, with its manor house from 1846 and a large, enchanting English landscape park, the perfect time travel experience around automobiles, motorcycles, prototypes, and tomorrow’s concept cars – along with a charming trip to the good old days in fitting outfits and with picnics – awaits young and old.

From August 1st to 3rd, 2025, when Classic Days begin again, the classic car scene, fans, young enthusiasts, families, and the entire region can look forward to another very special weekend.

Thanks to great support from the Korschenbroich administration and the enthusiastic involvement of Mayor Marc Venten, the Grand Meeting will return in its 50th anniversary year to Rhein-Kreis Neuss, in the town of Korschenbroich.
The volunteer-run Classic Days association has gained new members with its return to the region – to this rural setting just 2 km from the original venue – and has come up with many Classic Days-style program elements.

Engines Will Set Hearts Racing

Of course, racing drivers will be there: Hans-Joachim Stuck, Formula 1 legend and two-time Le Mans and DTM champion, will be attending. “Striezel” will be signing autographs and taking the wheel himself.
Original race cars and powerful machines from the early days of motorsport will also appear. A Delahaye racer with an aircraft engine, a 1913 Darracq TT with a 1928 Menasco Aero engine (4 cylinders, 8 liters), and the Wisconsin Special – a 1922 Daytona Beach record car with a huge and incredibly fast 6-cylinder engine. These three are among the world’s top historic vehicles – and they’ll be in our region.

The Future Calls – 40 Years of Back to the Future 2025 also marks the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future. The Steven Spielberg trilogy is among the most successful in film history. Marty McFly travels through time with Doc Emmett Brown in the DeLorean at 88 miles per hour. The original film car will be on display in the “Doc Brown Inventor's Garage.”

Relaxed Picnic and Period Clothing

Of course, picnicking is a must – everywhere! Along the track behind picket fences under the old chestnut tree avenue, in the manor house park (opened to the public exclusively for Classic Days), and throughout the beautifully landscaped estate.
Traditions like picnicking or visiting in period clothing are cherished. Hats are part of the charm. The Concours d’Chapeau will again take place in 2025, with a hat jury awarding the best creations – be it fascinators, DIY hats, or Ascot-style masterpieces – as ladies showcase their headwear.

Tradition Meets Innovation While Classic Days honor tradition, the main theme – the automobile – also looks to the future. No future without heritage. What does tomorrow’s mobility look like? What about the recent past?

What Thrills the Youngest Fans?

As a real treat, Classic Days will feature original film cars from the Fast & Furious series. Six film cars will come from the world-famous ChromeCars private collection – including a Nissan GTR, Subarus, and the original car driven by the late legend Paul Walker. And they won’t just be parked: Classic Days wouldn’t be what they are without the 2.6 km circuit for demo runs. All these vehicles will be seen in action – real cars, not static displays.

2.6 km Demo Track and a World Premiere

Also on the demo track – and one of the world premieres at Classic Days: the VW W30, prototype and test vehicle for the VW Beetle from 1936. Ferdinand Porsche developed only 30 of these test cars, which covered 1.5 million kilometers in just six months. All were scrapped before production of the KdF car began in 1938. One collector family, after archaeological research, managed to find parts of the only surviving W30, restore them, and reassemble the vehicle. It is considered a sensational discovery. It has never been seen driving in public – that changes from August 1st to 3rd, 2025.

Classic Days Are Exactly This: A wonderful mix, a colorful bag full of stories, highlights, movie cars, automotive diversity, and heartfelt memories.

Germany’s most vibrant, diverse, and largest classic car garden party is ready.
"It’s wonderful to see so many shining eyes in such a beautiful setting – the association is working tirelessly to prepare everything, and we are incredibly proud to bring so much world-class quality to Rittergut Birkhof," says association chairman Thomas Görden as he attaches retro-style enamel signs that make the time travel feel even more authentic.
